USY, United Synagogue Youth, is the high school age affiliate of The United Synagogue of America. USY brings great friends and exciting programs to Jewish teens in our synagogue and around the world...and transforms teens into Jewish leaders for the next generation.

Kadima is the middle school age affiliate of United Synagogue Youth. Kadima is Hebrew for "forward."

At Temple Beth O'r/Beth Torah, there are always exciting activities coming up for both USY and Kadima. Here are the latest upcoming events:

  • GET SET FOR A FABULOUS YEAR It is time to send in your membership dues and application for the 2010-2011 year.

  • Applications were sent out in the mail.
  • Watch your email and snail mail for info about the opening chapter event.

  • Questions? - send them to bjames018@hotmail.com.

  • Keep the date open for USY Opening Regional Dance: Saturday, October 16th

  • Opening Regional Event for Kadima will be on October 17th.

  • Opening Region event for Kadima will be at TBOBT on October 18th.

  • Get a CLUSY T-SHIRTS!
  • Calendars for USY and Kadima chapter and regional events for the 2008-2009 are posted on the respective bulletin boards.
  • Kadimanics and USYers check out - Hagalil USY. Click on the Kadima or USY door for the latest news.
  • If you have a Jewish friend who isn't a Kadima or USY member, but wants to check us out, let them come to any program held at the Temple. We would love to meet them.
  • If you have any questions, issues, problems or concerns, your advisors are here to help you.
  • Beginning and ending times of events are important. Everyone needs to be dropped off and picked up on time.
  • If you have any questions about regional events, USYers please contact the Director of Education and Youth Activities, Michelle Rich, and Kadimaniks please contact the Associate Regional Youth Director, Dassy Mark.
  • Please refrain from making USY and Kadima related calls on Shabbat and Jewish Holidays.
